Goodbye Mrs Sibley & Mr Campbell

We all say a very fond farewell to Mrs Joan Sibley on her retirement at the end of this year.  What a very outstanding principal she has been.  She has lead our school to become the best school in Wangaratta and beyond, to which each and everyone of you can attest.   Every morning before school Mrs Sibley is out there meeting and greeting parents and children, showing her genuine care and interest is all of our school community.

Mrs Sibley has driven many projects for the betterment of our school, such as the new Annette McWaters Gardens.

We remember her from assembly, where she hands out those students of the week each week.

We remember her for always being actively involved in all events, as seen here at the pool party, where she busily zoomed about so fast we didn't get a good shot of her!

But most of all we remember all the times when she took the time in her busy days to rejoice in our accomplishments as learners.

Mrs Sibley we love you and we will miss you terribly, but we wish you all the best in your new life beyond Wangaratta West Primary School.

We also say a fond farewell to our deputy principal Mr Ash Campbell who is leaving us to become principal of Milliwa Primary School.

We remember Mr Campbell for always being there for us.  He is very fair, and great fun, readily getting stuck into all events. Here he is at the pool party after winning the parent versus teachers race, but do you remember when he came to assembly as a fairy?  Mr Campbell you never failed to amaze and engage us!

Mr Campbell is always there getting stuck in at all events.  He sees us safely onto the bus, and he is always about to meet and greet all children and parents each morning before school, and say farewell after school.  Mr Campbell we will miss you, and we hope Milliwa realises just how very lucky they are!
