More fun was had today when the McDonald’s Camp
Quality Puppets came to perform for us at Wangaratta West.
The focus was to impart a fun and positive message about supporting children
living with cancer and other serious illnesses.
The information
shared aimed to help children heighten their awareness of the need to care for, and support others, who may look, or be a little ‘different’.
Today's example focused on physical problems, such as hair loss, following cancer treatment.
The children had a wonderful time learning more about thinking of others, and trying to become more empathetic, where they imagined what it would be like to walk in someone else's shoes.
Thanks McDonald’s Camp Quality, we all had a great time, and you really got us thinking!
