We are continuing our work with Place Value. Ask your child what they know about 100s, 10s and 1s. Ask them which activities they have been doing, and how they play the games you see here in these pictures.

ADDITION
Freddie, Jed, Noah,Reece and Ryan were showing some great thinking skills with this complex addition game. Ask them what they were doing and learning with this activity.
TOSS AND ADD
These children are working on building their rapid recall of number facts with these games called Toss and Add. Ask your child how to play this game, and see how quickly they recall facts such as 2+3, and 5+6. Ask your child to tell you how they work out these facts. You will be quite amazed at their very cleaver mathematical reasoning.
