Superhero Day Was Great Fun

Thinking of others.

Thinking of others is a big part of our learning at Wangaratta West.  On Friday we had a Superhero Day where the children came as their favourite superheroes, and brought along a gold coin for the joy of doing so.  This money was collected in support of research for finding a cure for muscular dystrophy, something which is close to our hearts as our wonderful volunteer, Katie, is a sufferer of this.  We all had a brilliant day as we excitedly took on the energetic and good willed persona of our chosen Superhero!

Luke was a very convincing Batman.

Jasmine was a scary Super Pirate Girl.

Jed was a powerful Superman

Georgia was a zippy little Wonder Dog

Ellie was a sleek Cat Woman

Mrs Nyman was this amazing Super Mum

Amy was a quick Spider Girl

Freddie's Mum, Louise, came as herself, Wonder Woman!

Freddie made a very impressive Batman.
